The Mining and Resources team specialises in the customised design and implementation of sophisticated and innovative deal solutions. The team is able to offer the industry solutions involving structured debt, project finance, equity, quasi-equity and corporate advisory services, taking advantage of Nedbank’s substantial balance sheet.
Recent resource-based deals executed exceed R20bn (£1,4bn), involving Nedbank funds totalling half of that. This experienced team has notable financial, technical and legal skills, as well as a full understanding of the risks involved in mining and other resource projects. The team has financed resources operations in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia.
